Taha Hussein is one of the most important names of Modern Arabic Literature, He emerged from the Egyptian countryside and from the cloisters of Al-Azhar University to enrich the Arabic library with more than fifty books dealing with literature, history, philosophy and education, he Ministry of Culture issued its decision to transfer Taha Hussein Villa or "Ramatan" and the land adjacent to the museum to honor his memory in 91/92, also at the entrance of the Museum there is a bronze statuette representing the top of Taha Hussein, this statue is the work of artist Abdul Qader Rizk in 1936.


The Museum consists of 2 floors, the first one contains Dr. Taha Hussein's study and a part of his 7,000 book library, a great reception hall where he received writers, politicians and artists every Sunday evening, The top floor has three bedrooms and a small hall where there is a closet enclosing all the decorations, medals and orders which the Doyen received during his lifetime.
