Terms & Conditions

Ibis Egypt Tours aims to satisfy every client planning to visit Egypt. Once you submit a request, our operator will contact you to fulfill your needs. Upon accepting the itinerary, a deposit must be paid (via Credit Card – Visa/MasterCard – or Bank Wire Transfer) to secure your reservation. Once the deposit is received, we will send an email confirmation including your agreed itinerary.

After receiving our final confirmation email, please reply with your acceptance to confirm your booking.

Adjustments After Confirmation

Once the final confirmation is accepted, any adjustments requested by the client are subject to availability. No administrative fees will be applied except for airline tickets or changing hotel/cruise categories.

Payment Policy

Deposit for Individual Bookings

  • 25% deposit required during normal seasons to secure holiday space.
  • 50% deposit required for high seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter).
  • Accepted via Visa, MasterCard, or Bank Wire Transfer.

Remaining Balance

  • Cash on arrival to Ibis Egypt Tours representative.
  • Or via Credit Card on arrival – must be the traveler's own card.

Group Bookings

  • 50% deposit by bank transfer at the time of booking.
  • Remaining balance to be paid via bank transfer at least one month before arrival.

Documents for Credit Card Payment

According to bank regulations, the following are required:

  • Signed copy of your passport
  • Signed copy of your credit card (both sides)
  • Signed authorization form to allow Ibis Egypt Tours to charge your card

All signatures must match the one on your card.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a reservation, send us a fax or email. The following charges will apply:

  • 45+ days before arrival: 6% (bank fees)
  • 40–30 days: 25% of total tour price
  • 29–15 days: 50% of total tour price
  • 14–8 days: 75% of total tour price
  • 7–1 days: 100% of tour price

Additional airline cancellation fees may apply based on domestic airline policy.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method. No refunds are provided for no-shows.

Accommodation

All prices are per person in a double room. Single supplement applies. Hotels named are for quality reference; alternatives of the same standard may be provided.

All prices include service charges and taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Children Policy

  • Under 6 years: Free (sharing parents’ room)
  • 6–11 years: 50% of adult price (sharing parents’ room)
  • 12+ years: Charged as adult
  • Domestic or sleeper train supplements may apply

Responsibility

Ibis Egypt Tours is responsible for hotel, cruise, transport, and domestic reservations but is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or delays caused by third-party services or acts beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, force majeure).

Complaints

If you have a complaint during your stay in Egypt, notify Ibis Egypt Tours immediately. If unresolved, contact the company chairman for assistance. After returning home, you may also contact the Egyptian Travel Agent Association.

Tipping

Tipping is optional and based on satisfaction. If you feel service was excellent, tipping is appreciated and encourages staff who go above and beyond.

Acceptance of Terms

By paying a deposit or final payment, you confirm that you have read, accepted, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above. This contract is binding between the client and Ibis Egypt Tours.
